I almost find it hard to believe that despite visiting vineyards across Europe and the Americas for the last ten years and studying wine for the last four, this marks my first visit to the region of the most famous and highly coveted wine blend in the world! However, this shouldn’t really come as a surprise as I only really started falling in love with French wines until very recently: I was always intimidated by French wine labels that I didn’t understand, names of Chateaux’s I couldn’t pronounce as well as regions and grape varieties I never heard of. But equipped with a much more mature palate and knowledge of the region, this holiday couldn’t have been timed better. Read more….
